1. The term “eviction” is used to refer to involuntary transfers or discharges. 2. Under the federal Nursing Home Reform Law (NHRL), which governs all nursing facilities that accept Medicare and/or Medicaid, these six reasons are specified as the only legal grounds for eviction.
